Attractions & Facilities

On our property

Our property is tranquil and backs on to a rugged bush hinterland. There are adventurous bush walking and mountain biking trails on the property, offering beautiful bushland and views to as far away as Sydney.

Two mountain bikes are available for your use.

There are always plenty of opportunities to view and photograph wallabies, wombats and native birds on the property and in the surrounding bushland.

Wombats are often seen in the grounds of the Old Dairy

You are welcome to have a swim in our heated 15 metre indoor swimming pool; or for a bathing experience with a difference, try the outdoor bathhouse:

The windmill pumps water into the bath from the Banks Wall sandstone, where 11,000 years old water is held 450 metres below ground. The mineral rich water is favoured by horses and native animals. Those who have bathed in it claim that it eases painful joints and skin irritations.

In our district

From the Old Dairy, it is an easy five km bicycle ride to Bents Basin State Conservation area which offers fishing, swimming, nature trails and bird watching.

Historic and scenic Warragamba Dam with its extensive picnic grounds is seven minutes by car.

Near Warragamba Dam, Nortons Basin is a natural swimming pool on the Nepean River just upstream from its junction with the Warragamba River. Horseshoe Basin is a little further upstream and even more pristine:
